Software QA Engineer II

.In this role, you will ensure the highest quality standards for SaaS-based software products by designing, executing, and refining testing frameworks across data operations and new feature development. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and architects to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability throughout the development lifecycle. Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain manual testing frameworks for SaaS and data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage
- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to verify new features and system enhancements
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, test cases, and results
- Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements to testing processes and automation strategies
- Stay informed about emerging QA methodologies, AI, and GenAI trends to enhance test efficiency and innovation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably testing SaaS applications and data operations
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency with Windows and Unix environments, along with solid understanding of software development lifecycles
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience testing AI or GenAI solutions
- Certifications such as Azure AI Fundamentals or Azure Data Fundamentals
- Familiarity with Apache JMeter, Selenium, or similar test tools
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL Server, and Vue.js
