Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at West, your role involves working autonomously to design, develop, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin, Xamarin Forms, and MAUI. Here are the key responsibilities: - Possess a solid understanding of the overall vision, business needs, and solution architecture for cross-platform mobile applications. Utilize this knowledge to solve complex problems. - Develop cross-platform applications for iOS, Android, and Windows using best practices. - Write high-quality code for native and cross-platform mobile applications. - Design rich user experiences with adaptive/responsive UI design. - Develop restful API Services and Push Notifications for Android and iOS. - Transform business requirements into technical specifications. - Estimate technical requirements, break down work into user stories and tasks. - Plan, develop, test, deploy, and monitor cross-platform mobile apps in a DevOps model. - Perform Code Review, debug, and troubleshoot production issues and crashes. - Generate testing and test cases to ensure error-free applications. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred. - Minimum 3 years of related work experience. - Good to have an understanding of the overall Cross-Platform app development ecosystem. - Experience deploying applications to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. - Familiarity with SAP Hana Rest API services and ODATA services Integration with Xamarin/MAUI. - Previous development experience on Native Android, Windows, IOS (using C#, Core Java, Swift/ Xcode). - Experience with new age AI tools like Cursor or equivalent tool. - Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic. - Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
