Introduction

With over 1,900 researchers worldwide, the Technology organization occupies a special position within Siemens' R&D facilities. It functions as an international network of expertise and as a global partner for technology and innovations. Through its R&D activities in Germany, the USA, China, India, Russia and Eastern Europe, Technology helps secure the company's technological future and bolster its competitiveness.

You’ll create impact by:

Customize and enhance existing Python-based software applications based on project requirements.
Test and validate application functionality in a desktop environment to ensure stability and performance.
Package and deploy applications on Digital Ocean, including configuration and optimization for cloud environments.
Fine-tune AI models use existing source code and datasets to improve accuracy and performance.
Debug and troubleshoot issues across the application stack, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DevOps, and product managers to align on deliverables.
Maintain clear documentation of changes, configurations, and deployment processes.

Required Skills:

Moderate to strong proficiency in Python and experience with software customization and modular development.
*Hands-on experience with AI/ML model fine-tuning, preferably using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Familiarity with cloud deployment, especially in Digital Ocean
Experience with desktop application testing and debugging tools.
Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
