Our mission is to make every journey smarter, safer, and more enjoyable for passengers and operators alike.Position SummaryAs a QA Analyst in the IFE domain, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of Thales’ In-Flight Entertainment solutions. You will work closely with software development, integration, and support teams to validate systems that enhance the passenger experience onboard leading airlines worldwide.Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites for manual and automated testing.
- Perform automation testing for web-based and software applications.
- Ensure complete test coverage for existing and new features and enhancements.
- Add new test scenarios / suites and automate with defined framework.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and log detailed defect reports for release-based testing / Performance testing and Integration test.
- Prepare comprehensive test summary and completion reports for project leads and product owners.
- Participate in or lead test planning sessions, sprint reviews, and quality status meetings.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases.
Qualification:
- 2+ year of total experience in software industry.
- 2+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer with Hands-on experience with Cucumber (BDD) framework
- Experience in manual as well as Automation testing
- Experience in framework design and maintenance (Hybrid, Data-Driven, or BDD frameworks).
- Experience with Datadog integration for automation metrics, logging, and dashboards.
- Experience setting up dashboards and alerts through Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computers science or Equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience/knowledge with Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- 1+ years of experience with debugging and automation testing tools (Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Postman, etc.).
- 1+ years of experience with source control versioning systems, preferably Gitlab.
- Have strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge in CI/CD processes and tools.
- Experience with tools and frameworks like Jira, Confluence, tools for load testing.
- Good to have knowledge on: Databases, Azure cloud.
