Software Engineer Python Developer

We are looking for a versatile Software Engineer to join our core development team.

This role is critical in designing, building, and scaling the software solutions that power our services.

You will work across both front-end (Next.js) and back-end (FastAPI in Python), with exposure to cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable back-end services and APIs using Python + FastAPI. 2. Develop responsive, high-performance front-end applications and dashboards using Next.js. 3. Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, etc.). 4. Collaborate with tribology experts, product managers, and operations teams to translate business/industry requirements into effective technical solutions. 5. Debug issues, optimize performance, and ensure code quality through clean, testable, and maintainable code. 6. Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and team-based development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have: 1. Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with FastAPI (or similar frameworks like Django/Flask). 2. Proven experience building modern front-end applications using Next.js (or strong React background). 3. Experience deploying/managing applications on Google Cloud (experience with AWS or Azure is also acceptable). 4. Ability to work in a team environment (code reviews, collaborative development, multiple developers on the same product). 5. 35 years of professional software development experience.
