Job Description

The job description is for current open positions in IST Web development team for working on developing and maintaining Web application for Provider Shared Svcs Support in collaboration with UHC Provider teams. Required Technical skill set will be Angular, Azur, Dot Net Core, SQL server, Rally\JIRA\KanBan and exposer in SSRS, Power BI, Microservices and Open AI API services. Manger monitors the resource utilization and the quality of deliverables through Rally and evaluate various parameters like Quality of Stories delivered, Tasks Completed, TAT, Defect counts in delivered task, number of engagements handled etc. for deriving the conclusion of whether the role requirements are being met or not. This is for a role of Software Engineer at Grade 26 with job code APC522. Role specific capacity & demand will be managed by the number of engagements handled and Features/User Stories/Tasks/Defects delivered by a resource in a sprint duration. On an average, at present 3-4 user stories or defects in 1-2 features are being worked upon in a sprint of 2 weeks. At this point in time, there is a significant number of user stories for multiple applications under development are awaiting to be worked upon thus reducing manual effort. This demand can be catered in time to the business with the availability of backfill position. Primary Responsibilities: End-to-end development and support application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method Build quality into every output Evaluate new tools, new techniques, and strategies Automation of common tasks Build common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways Code Angular 16+, C#, .NET Core, React & Node JS based Azure cloud hosted Web applications Write SQL Server Stored Procedures, Create SQL Server tables, functions, triggers, indexes Optimize the existing Stored Procedures Participate in daily Scrum meetings and delivering the assigned tasks within the timelines specified and meeting the team goal Role-sharing in the team as and when the demand would be Translate requirements into technical specifications Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise Work with business segments to better define project requirements for development and implementation Work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks Analyze and investigate Translates concepts into practice Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Tech or equivalent with 4+ years of experience Skills: Angular 18, .Net Core, C#, SQL, Node Solid knowledge Angular 16 or more, JavaScript, & Azure Cloud Solid knowledge about the of .NET Core, C# and SQL Server Proficient in React and Node JS with a good knowledge of their ecosystems Flexible enough to learn new skills like Python and Generative AI Proven good communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Healthcare domain ML, NLP and AI working knowledge and exposure Knowledge of Web Services, Microservices, Interactive Web UI development jQuery, Bootstrap, async, etc. Production support exposure #Nic
