Job Description

You will contribute to the design and development of new software ranging from prototyping and writing functional code to testing and implementation. This role will leverage your knowledge of programming languages and databases. You will collaborate with the team to support various stages of the software development life cycle. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager.
What You Will Do
  • Take part in the development of secure and well performing automotive applications and services with Java, Spring MVC, Web Security, multithreading, and cache management etc.
  • Work on the design, development and implementation of components leveraging technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, RESTful, Spring MVC, XML, NoSQL DBs and others.
  • Understand requirements and create artifacts such as design documents, review artifacts and contribute towards the end-to-end solution.
  • Continuously partner with colleagues from Architecture, QA, Process excellence etc. to ensure smooth development and delivery of the platform releases.
  • Actively provide support in the establishment of best practices to identify and solve security threats.
What You Need to Be Successful
  • A thorough understanding of designing and implementing J2EE web applications with highly optimized and scalable architecture. Knowledgeable of and have solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts, web application development best practices, design patterns, and frameworks.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Java design and development.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Java / J2EE technology to design and develop highly scalable components.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring, Sprint Boot, Microservices, SQL & NoSQL databases, Cloud technologies
  • Well-versed in Scrum methodology, Maven, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, Spring Boot, GitHub, service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices and containers
Bonus Points if You Have
  • Bachelor s degree in CS or equivalent.
  • Cloud Certification, experience with Angular JS or another JavaScript framework is good to have.
  • Experience of working in global teams.
  • Knowledge & experience in using AI Tools for unit test case generation, code review etc.

  • You are bilingual in Kannda/Hindi and have a working knowledge of English.
  • Ideally, you live near Bangalore, India. Because this is a hybrid role, commuting to our Bangalore office will be required each week.
