Software Engineer III Python React

In this role, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team, responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your primary focus will be on executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting across multiple technical areas to support the firm's business objectives effectively. You will be creating secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Your responsibilities also include gathering, analyzing, synthesizing data, and developing visualizations and reporting to continuously improve software applications and systems. As a proactive member of the team, you will identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture. To succeed in this role, you must have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with at least 3 years of development experience in Python Flask, DuckDB, and IBIS. Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability is essential. You should also possess experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages. A solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security is crucial for this position. Additionally, familiarity with modern front-end technologies, exposure to cloud technologies, and proficiency in coding in Python with React JS are considered advantageous skills.
