As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively to build solutions or address technical challenges. You will create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets to enhance software applications and systems. Your proactive approach in identifying hidden problems and patterns in data will drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies - Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience - Strong skills in object-oriented analysis and design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns - Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficiency in coding in Java 17, Spring Boot, and SQL Databases - Advanced knowledge in Functional Programming, BPMN, Microservices, RESTful webservices development, JMS, Kafka, and Hibernate - Experience with JDBC/JPBA frameworks such as Hibernate or MyBatis - Strong hands-on experience in Cloud Native Architecture (Azure / AWS) and Containerization / Kubernetes - Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, and non-functional requirements like Resiliency, performance, and Security - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline Please note that the Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills have not been provided in the given job description.,
