As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think creatively and innovatively to build solutions and solve technical challenges. - Creating secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with relevant systems. - Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensuring that design constraints are met through software code development. - Gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems. - Proactively identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture. - Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies. - Fostering a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect. Qualifications and Skills Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with at least 3 years of applied experience. - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. - Proficiency in coding in one or more languages. - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages. - Solid understanding of agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
