Software Engineer III - Java and AWS/Kubernetes/Spark

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Risk Technology, you will be part of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, developing secure and high-quality production code, and creating architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and ensure design constraints are met - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets - Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities and events exploring new technologies - Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the team culture Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience - Hands-on experience as a Full stack developer with Java, Spring & JPA - Strong data engineering skills with a focus on SQL, Apache Spark - Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment - Demonstrable ability to code in multiple languages and exposure to Agile methodologies - Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, micro-services, ElasticSearch, Kafka - Exposure to cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and data modeling concepts Company Additional Details (if applicable): - Exposure to Banking and Finance domain is preferred for this role.,
