As a Guidewire Cloud Platform Software Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge cloud solutions. Guidewire provides industry-leading software for the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance sector , helping insurers streamline operations, manage policies, process claims, and enhance customer experiences. Through Guidewire Cloud , we enable rapid innovation and measurable business value. Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality, scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. Work with container technologies like Docker and cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry ). Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and similar tools. Apply best practices in Data Structures, OOP, Design Patterns, and Multithreading to build robust applications. Thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment , collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices . Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies and experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, Azure ). Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools .
