As a Software Engineer II Structured Finance AWS + SQL and Python Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank - Securitized Products Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that interface with the Intex API for cashflow modeling and analytics of structured products. - Integrating Intex outputs into internal systems for risk management, reporting, or trading purposes. - Executing software solutions, and demonstrating the ability to think creatively to build solutions or solve technical problems beyond routine approaches. - Creating secure and high-quality production code that runs synchronously with appropriate systems. - Contributing to a team culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts along with 5+ years of applied experience. - A solid understanding of securitized products such as RMBS, CMBS, etc. - Strong proficiency in Python, including experience in object-oriented programming, data processing, API integration, and automation. - Experience with AWS services like Lambda, S3, EC2, Data lake, and AWS Glue for data processing workflows. - Strong understanding of relational and columnar databases such as Postgres, Redshift, and working with large financial datasets. - Hands-on practical experience in application development, debugging, testing, and ensuring operational stability. - Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. Preferred qualifications and skills for the role: - Hands-on experience with the Intex API. - Previous experience with structured finance.
