Job Overview Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test product features and enhancements independently
Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues
Collaborate with team leads during sprint planning and grooming to estimate stories and identify implementation details
Monitor and optimize platform performance in production
Lead and contribute to software architecture and technical discussions
Prioritize development tasks and user stories
Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional collaboration
Take ownership of production issues and drive timely resolutions
Conduct thorough code reviews
Identify and address technical debt, and propose improvement strategies
Create user stories for production fixes, technical debt, and enhancements

Requirements

Minimum
4+ years
in a software development role
Strong experience in
Java (Spring)
for backend and
Angular
for frontend development
Ability to write secure, high-quality code
Familiarity with security protocols like
OAuth
, and general authentication/authorization flows
Solid understanding of the
software development lifecycle
Experience with Kafka
,
Docker
, or
Kubernetes
is a plus
