Software Engineer (Full Stack)

You will be involved in the complete product lifecycle, starting from initial requirements definition, design, development, and solution configuration through to deployment. You will follow an Agile approach using Behaviour Driven Development and Continuous Deployment technologies to support the on-going maintenance and fixes of SmartStream's solutions and in-house toolkits. It is expected that you adhere to SmartStream's development process and quality standards. Your responsibility will include developing scalable and robust solutions that meet the high performance and availability standards of global financial institutions. Your key skills should include professional experience with Java 8/11 and Angular, proficiency in Git, Maven, NPM, Jenkins Pipelines, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot Microservices. You should also have practical experience with REST, Swagger/OpenAPI, SQL in relational databases like Oracle/SQL Server, and Application Server Middleware. Good communication skills are essential for this role. Desirable skills for this position would include experience in Containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Ideally, you should be an Engineering Graduate with a background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field. The job requires 3-5 years of software engineering experience. While experience developing in a software vendor environment is desirable, it is not mandatory. Financial software experience would be a bonus but is not a strict requirement. Having experience as a junior software engineer or junior developer is a must for this role.,
