Software Engineer - Distributed Systems Database Internals Location: Noida | Type: Full-Time, Permanent | Experience: 2+ Years Zettabolt Technologies is hiring Software Engineers to design and optimize high-performance distributed systems and database execution engines. Work on large-scale, performance-critical applications and help architect advanced data platforms in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Role Overview: Work on core development, optimization, and system-level debugging of distributed systems. Optimize query execution engines, storage layers, and resource management in distributed computing environments (e.g., Spark, Presto). Perform system-level debugging to resolve bottlenecks across compute, storage, and network layers. Enhance execution planners, cost-based optimizers, and distributed infrastructure components. Collaborate with teams to design solutions that deliver measurable business impact. What We re Looking For: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related fields. 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database internals (query execution, indexing, storage engines). Experience with system-level debugging and performance tuning. Experience working with Linux systems and SQL/NoSQL databases. Bonus: Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, Presto, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, or Kubernetes.
