Software Engineer Backend

.We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team focused on building world-class platforms in the cybersecurity space. In this role, you will work on high-volume, low-latency systems, designing and implementing robust backend solutions. You will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from architecture and coding to testing and deployment. Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Java EE and Spring Boot
- Develop and optimize databases, ensuring high efficiency and reliability
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code while following secure development practices
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, and maintain detailed feature documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality application delivery
- Contribute to architecture design, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control systems (Git)
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, Java fundamentals, and Service-Oriented Architecture
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Java Enterprise tools
- Knowledge of databases, with NoSQL experience considered a plus
- Experience with HTTP, REST APIs, authentication, and authorization methods
- Understanding of clean code principles, testable code, and software testing practices
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Growth mindset, self-motivated, and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity domain is an advantage
