Software Engineer - Application Developer

As a front-end developer at our organization, your role will involve developing responsive UI components within Google Looker using LookML, ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+). You will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the organization's design guidelines, creating reusable UI components, developing custom visualizations for financial applications, and optimizing front-end performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver high-quality UI solutions following proper development standards and best coding practices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing responsive UI components within Google Looker using LookML, ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+), while maintaining the organization's standard application look and feel. - Creating reusable UI components aligning with design guidelines and best practices. - Developing custom visualizations for financial applications, ensuring consistency across UI elements. - Contributing to release cycles, CI/CD workflows, and automated testing within a CSD pipeline. - Optimizing front-end performance for highly interactive applications. - Collaborating with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver quality UI solutions. - Utilizing Redux or similar libraries for efficient application state handling. - Developing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability. - Troubleshooting and debugging UI issues across different browsers and platforms. - Setting up and managing global themes using CSS, SCSS, and component-based styling approaches. - Following proper development standards, best coding practices (SOLID, DRY, KISS), and Agile methodologies. Qualifications required for this role: - 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development using ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Proven experience in building responsive and performant UI components in complex web applications. - Strong understanding of state management libraries like Redux or Context API. - Exposure to financial services or enterprise-level applications is a plus.,
