This role involves participating in activities related to system upgrades and selecting optimal tools and solutions that align with business needs while ensuring production and BAU stability. Additionally, the role provides opportunities to implement and enhance DevOps processes across multiple applications within the Market Risk Division. Role Type: Permanent Role Location:Bengaluru What will your day look like Market Risk Applications does have various regulatory timeline commitments for the next couple of years for as well as technical initiatives for adapting our applications to latest technologies. Therefore, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Stack Developer with the below task and involvement. o This role is expected to participate actively in converting the business requirement/functional requirement Task into system module or enhancement. o You will be flexible enough to work across Chapter leaders however accountability is within a specific Chapter lead o Good understanding of agile SDLC process with exposure in continuous aggregation and communication of backlog and feature progress, dependency progress and major impediments effecting the release o Exhibit a strong balance of independence and teamwork, contributing effectively in team settings while excelling in autonomous tasks. o Proactively challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement, focusing on optimization and automation of tasks with a keen passion for innovation o Writing well designed, testable, efficient code with automated unit test-cases What will you bring To grow and be successful in this role, you ll ideally bring the following: o 8+ years of experience with full stack development with Java core , Spring . o Strong knowledge of Multhithreading , memory cache handling for data processing and performance tuning in them o Experience consuming and producing integration endpoints (e.g. Web services/API, message queues) o Good understanding of the SDLC process including writing clean, modular and bug free code. Working knowledge of the build and deployment processes. o Have strong logical and analytical skills. o Understanding of agile environment o Experienced with tools such as Git, Maven, JIRA, Confluence and test driven methodologies o Strong understanding of Agile methodologies o A growth mind-set and constantly learning attitude. o Proven experience in code maintenance, deployment with GitHub /teamcity with CI/CD. o Experienced in production stability initiatives with proactive approaches for NFR requirements. Desired skills o Hands on experience of developing with Kotlin on some streams/project is preferred o Experience of Java8, Concurrent programming, JVM optimization is an added advantage o Data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) experience is a plus o Experience in Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
