Job Description

Role Overview: Join Brightly Software, a Siemens company, as a talented engineer in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Build innovative and performant features for next-generation software applications by applying computer science knowledge and programming principles. - Develop, implement, test, and document libraries and frameworks to scale development effectively across multiple projects. - Ensure quality throughout the agile product lifecycle, from requirements to support, and adhere to software engineering standards. - Collaborate with product owners to translate user requirements into technical specifications and align code objectives with company goals. - Support products, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, and maintain product quality by quickly addressing defects. - Foster a DevOps mentality within the team and stay updated with technological trends. - Participate in the product lifecycle with senior engineers, development managers, and scrum masters in an agile environment. - Drive continuous improvement processes and be a change leader within the team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. - 2-3 years of work experience in software development. - Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, web programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. - Experience in web-based applications using Java frameworks, REST services, micro-services, unit testing, and test automation frameworks. - Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, agile methodologies, and communication skills.
