Experience in the Private Equity domain will be a great plus. As a Software Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing various technology initiatives and driving the successful delivery of the projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive exposure to a diverse range of technology stacks and possess exceptional leadership and managerial skills. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization. Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to the development team to ensure the successful execution of technology initiatives. Manage and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement. Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, and effectively manage project risks and issues. Possess a deep understanding of various technology stacks and stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in software development. Provide guidance and technical expertise to the development team, promoting best practices, efficient coding standards, and quality assurance processes. Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers, managing relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of outsourced projects and services. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or math. Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or similar leadership role within the Private Equity or Financial industry. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with various technology stacks, including but not limited to Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, databases, and cloud platforms. Strong experience with agile development methodologies and tools. Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading successful software development teams. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and drive results. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Proven ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Private Equity a plus
