Job Title: SoftwareDevelopment Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Software Development Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality softwaresolutions in an Agile environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strong technical expertise with people and project managementresponsibilities. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in both thestrategic and operational aspects of product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a cross-functional development team to deliver new features and fixes using Agile methodologies.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Serve as the first point of escalation for development blockers and ensure the team maintains sprint velocity and achieves goals.

Drive sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

Take a hands-on role in development, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting.

Manage day-to-day activities and support career development of team members.

Communicate progress, challenges, and risks clearly to senior stakeholders.

Lead efforts in adopting and spreading best practices in software development across the organization.

Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to cloud-native development.

Collaborate with IT, Business, and Operations teams to ensure successful product releases.

Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, CI/CD processes, and DevOps automation.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in software development of complex, scalable applications.

Strong technical knowledge of Java, Spring Boot , and Microservices architecture .

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile development teams.

Proven experience in managing globally distributed teams with onshore and offshore components.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure , including container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes .

Expertise in unit testing , design patterns , and software engineering best practices .

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical and team-related challenges.

Experience with Cloud and SaaS Development: Azure and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc
