About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about full-stack development, scalable system design, and automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying features for a modern web-based automation platform that integrates cutting-edge technologies, AI models, and workflow systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features for the company’s automation platform.

• Build and maintain both frontend and backend components:

• Frontend: Create responsive dashboards, workflow builders, and UI components using React.js or Next.js.
• Backend: Develop APIs, automation logic, and integrations using Node.js and Express.

• Model and optimize databases using PostgreSQL and MongoDB for performance and scalability.
• Integrate AI models and automation agents into platform workflows.
• Implement webhooks, schedulers, and background jobs to support automation pipelines.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, following modern coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and participate in design discussions.
• Ensure secure, testable, and scalable SaaS architecture following DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern frontend framework (React.js or Next.js preferred).
• Practical experience in Node.js/Express and REST API development.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Git, branching workflows, and code review processes.
• Understanding of OAuth2, API integrations, and external service handling (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, Slack).
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Knowledge of Prisma, Mongoose, TypeScript, and testing tools such as Postman.
• Awareness of state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and secure secrets management.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Langflow, n8n, Zapier) and data formats like JSON, XML.
• Basic Python scripting for testing or AI-related integrations.
• Strong problem-solving ability and curiosity about enterprise workflows such as ERP and accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
