About Raptee. HV Raptee. HV is a full-stack electric motorcycle startup with a strong technical foundation. Founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (with backgrounds at Tesla and Wipro), Raptee Energy aims to revolutionize the EV market by offering a high-performance motorcycle alternative to the existing scooter-dominated options. The company is incubated at CIIC ARAI. Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our development team. As an SDE , you will work closely with our experienced engineers, contributing to the development of cutting-edge applications and systems. This internship offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in programming, data structures and algorithms (DSA), RESTful API development, and API integrations. Experience with the MERN stack is a plus but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. Implement and work with RESTful APIs for various applications. Perform API integrations to enhance system functionality and interoperability. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports. Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Understand and configure open-source technologies. Required Skills Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C++. Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Experience with RESTful API development. Ability to perform API integrations. Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Ability to understand and configure open-source technologies. Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory) Experience with the MERN (MongoDB, Express. js, React, Node. js) stack. Understanding of front-end frameworks and libraries (e. g. , React, Angular, Vue. js). Familiarity with database management systems (SQL/NoSQL). Exposure to cloud platforms and services (e. g. , AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
