Software Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and onsite teams; participate in client workshops to identify high-impact business problems that can be addressed with Data analytics solutions.
• Problem Translation: Convert ambiguous business problems into clear analytic problem statements.
• Domain Expertise: Leverage your expertise in the Pharma Industry or Life Sciences/Healthcare, with a focus on Analytics consulting.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis in Pharma: Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, statistical, and machine learning techniques to uncover insights specific to the Pharma industry. This includes analyzing Pharma commercial, HCP, Omnichannel, Sales data, and drive engagement.
• Data Engineering: Design and implement data pipelines using SQL, Azure DataBricks, and other ETL tools to ensure efficient data processing and integration, particularly for large-scale healthcare datasets.
• Code Optimization: Optimize SQL and PySpark codes for performance and scalability, ensuring they meet the specific needs of pharmaceutical research and healthcare analytics.
• Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, including visualizations of patient data trends, treatment pathways, and market analysis (preferred).
• Reporting and Analysis: Assist in developing reports and analyses to support business decisions.
• Reporting Environment Management: Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Data Warehouse Support: Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
• Data Integrity Initiatives: Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in delivering advanced analytics, including experience with sales, engagement, channel, content data
• Analytical Skills: Ability to discover patterns in data and provide impactful insights for client decision-making, particularly in the context of pharmaceutical brand commercialization and promotion.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SQL, Azure DataBricks techniques, and the ability to interpret results from a business perspective.
• Industry Insight: In-depth understanding of how analytics is used in decision-making across various industries/functional areas, with a strong focus on the Pharma industry.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to translate high-level business problems into analytic problem statements.
• Solution Development: Experience in scoping, developing, validating, and deploying explanatory, predictive, and prescriptive analytic solutions.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with data handling using SQL and advanced analytics tools such as R and/or Python.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills.
