Location: Vadodara, India Salary: ₹15 – ₹25 LPA Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in-office) Shift: US Hours (EST/CST) What You’ll Do As a Java Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you'll work with modern tech stacks to test cloud-native applications. You'll be responsible for building automated test suites for APIs and web interfaces, ensuring quality across services, and mentoring junior testers. Your Responsibilities Develop automation frameworks for Java-based cloud web apps. Work in cross-functional agile teams to design, execute, and analyze tests. Automate UI and API testing using tools like Selenium, Protractor. Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc testing to simulate real user scenarios. Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Maven. Use BDD/TDD and industry best practices for high-quality deliverables. Participate in daily standups and agile ceremonies. Guide junior team members through mentoring and documentation. Must-Have Skills 3–5 years in Quality Engineering. Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring, JUnit, Kafka, REST APIs, Databases. Expertise in UI automation (Selenium/Protractor). Familiar with Unix/Linux environments. CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Maven. Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe). Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills. Nice To Have Experience testing microservices and cloud platforms (e.g., PCF). Knowledge of design patterns and advanced testing principles. Candidate Criteria Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field. Stable employment history (no frequent job changes or employment gaps). Available to join within 30 days.
