- Accountabilities:
- Develop and deliver production-ready software in collaboration with your team, Product Owners, and Engineering Manager.
- Serve as a senior engineer providing technical guidance, shaping long-term architecture, and reducing operational overhead.
- Scope and stage work into manageable milestones while delivering on time and with high quality.
- Own testing strategies, performance plans, and implementation of defensive coding and best practices.
- Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, documentation, and technical leadership.
- Participate in cross-service system design, Architectural Review Board discussions, and propose improvements to technical standards.
- Identify and resolve technical debt, influence Pillar-level decisions, and coordinate on complex cross-cutting issues.
- Requirements:
- 6+ years of software development experience with full ownership of features and systems.
- Strong problem-solving, programming, and object-oriented design skills.
- Expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET MVC), SQL, and database design.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Functions, WebJobs, App Services, Service Bus, Storage Queues, DevOps).
- Proficiency with JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
- Mentoring experience and ability to elevate engineering quality across teams.
- Nice to have: familiarity with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code), AWS/GCP cloud platforms, event-driven and service-oriented architectures, and Vue.js .
