Software Development Engineer

Position: SDE I/II

Department: Software Development (Data Load Team)

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal (India) (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement efficient ETL processes to handle high-volume data ingestion and processing.

2. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.

3. Write clean, well-documented Python code to automate data pipelines and integrate with various data sources.

4. Apply knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) to solve performance bottlenecks and optimize data processing jobs.

5. Utilize understanding of Operating Systems (OS) concepts to build and manage data processing jobs and workflows efficiently.

6. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 0-3 years of experience in a data-focused role.

2. Hands-on expertise in Advanced SQL, specifically with MySQL 8.

3. Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering.

4. Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

5. Familiarity with Operating Systems (OS) concepts relevant to data processing.

6. Ability to handle and process large datasets efficiently.

7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
