Software Developer

As a Software Engineer at our company, your role will involve designing, developing, and installing software solutions. You will be responsible for gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing code in various tools such as C#, Asp.net, Asp.net Core, and MVC. Your familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) will be essential, from preliminary system analysis to testing and deployment. Your ultimate goal will be to build high-quality, innovative software that complies with coding standards and technical design. Responsibilities: - Work with developers and other teams to design algorithms and flowcharts - Produce clean and efficient code based on specifications - Integrate software components - Verify and deploy programs and systems - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software - Gather and evaluate user feedback - Recommend and execute improvements - Create technical documentation for reference and reporting Requirements and Skills: - Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role - Experience with software development in a test-driven environment - Knowledge of coding languages/tools such as C#, Asp.net, Asp.net Core - Experience with databases like MySQL and SQL Server - Knowledge of version control systems like Git/SVN - Ability to learn new languages and technologies - Excellent communication skills - Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude - Attention to detail - Graduation in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent degree Nice To Have: - Exposure to cloud computing services - Knowledge of DevOps practices - Knowledge of the Insurance domain - Knowledge of frontend libraries/frameworks like React, Angular, etc. If you are interested in this position, please send your CV to: irecruitment@smcinsurance.com,
