Software Developer - Python Position Title: Software Developer - Python Location: Noida About Us: Opkey is a NO-CODE end-to-end test automation Platform, and we are currently seeking exceptional Automation Testers. The ideal candidate will have responsibility for crafting, deploying, and running automated test scripts Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Operations) to gather and define requirements for new features and systems. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, ensuring scalability and performance. Develop and integrate APIs, ensuring seamless interaction between front-end and back-end systems. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Python code to enhance functionality and performance. Conduct code reviews and participate in team discussions to improve software development processes. Continuously improving the software development lifecycle by implementing best practices, new technologies, and methodologies. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness. Monitor and maintain system performance, implementing necessary improvements or xes. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and Python libraries. Requirements: Proven 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Python frameworks such as Flask. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Experience with version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Experience with testing frameworks like pytest or unit tests is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
