Software Developer (Java)

As a Software Developer at BNI, you will be an integral part of the Global Information Technology Team, focusing on creating and maintaining company-owned web applications. You will collaborate with other Developers, QA engineers, and various levels of BNI Management and Leadership teams, contributing to the growth of a dynamic team within a global organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support the entire application lifecycle: Concept, Design, Develop, Test, Release, and Support. - Produce fully functional applications and Restful APIs using Java. - Approach development with testing in mind, including Unit, Integration, and Regression testing. - Troubleshoot and optimize application and database performance. - Design, Develop, and Deliver APIs for Mobile and Web Applications. - Ensure engineering efforts meet quality standards. - Research and recommend new Technologies, Libraries, and Protocols for continuous improvement. - Modernize applications and infrastructure using acquired knowledge and research. - Collaborate effectively with a diverse team to solve problems and achieve goals. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of relevant work experience. - Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills. - Backend skills: Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate ORM, Spring Data JPA. - Additional skills: Knowledge of Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, Service Discovery, React JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. - Database experience: MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis. - Messaging & Streaming knowledge: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ. - Testing & Debugging tools: JUnit, Mockito, Postman. - Security & Authentication familiarity: Spring Security, OAuth. - Version Control proficiency: Git, GitHub. - Deployment & Build Tools expertise: Maven, CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker preferred). - Knowledge of AWS components like S3, Elastic Search, Grafana, Kubernetes.
