Role Overview: You will play a pivotal role in Jacobs Digital Transformation journey as a Software Developer Design Automation. Your main responsibility will involve designing and developing innovative software solutions that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and deliver smarter outcomes for clients. This is an exciting opportunity to build solutions from scratch using modern technologies to support global engineering teams and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications using .NET (C#) and Azure PaaS services. - Build and integrate microservices and REST APIs to support business logic and reporting requirements. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments and testing. - Write unit and integration tests using modern frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability. - Apply clean coding principles, design patterns, and Clean Architecture for maintainable and modular solutions. - Work closely with stakeholders to define User Stories and translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Conduct code reviews and promote best practices for software development and documentation. - Explore emerging technologies such as Blazor, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React) to enhance user experience. - Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement of development workflows. - Support Jacobs vision for Digital innovation by aligning solutions with organizational goals and global standards. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - 6-12 years of experience in software development with modern technology stacks. - Proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and cloud-based applications. - Strong communication skills and ability to work in global, multidisciplinary teams.
