Your Role and Responsibilities: We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Software Developer who can do software development including development and Operation tasks (DevOps) to join our team as we embark on develop /build software a CI/CD pipeline to support the delivery of IBM container products to our valued customers and IBM Product teams. As a Software Developer , you will play a crucial role in implementing, and maintaining this new pipeline especially provisioning on datasource configurations, connections , various datasource authentication mechanism etc Requires ability to absorb professional knowledge in database management (relational /non-relational) could configure datasources connections in any SaaS or On Premise. Ensure the smooth operations of provisioning and maintaining datasource connections via patching and version upgrades and enabling seamless continuous integration and deployment processes. Collaborate with development teams to address technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the efficiency of the CI/CD process Automate and optimize various aspects of the CI/CD pipeline using script programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Provide technical support to our customers, stakeholder via various communication channels, including Slack. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by product teams to ensure the pipeline operates efficiently and delivers high-quality software. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 5 to 7 years of IT professional experience in software development with knowledge in , Enterprise GitHub and version control, CI/CD Pipeline ,Script programming development (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) Hands on experience in any of SQL/non-SQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, DB2 etc) , configuring databases , DBA skills is an advantage Hands on experience Multi cloud (any -IBM cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP etc) and spinning up and running workloads, its maintenance Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise, Experience and knowledge in Containters , Kuberntes Java/Python/ any programming and automation skills through ansible / terraform Script programming development (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) Experience in any of SQL/non-SQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, DB2 etc) Experience in Multi cloud (any -IBM cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP etc) Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Experience in containers / Kubernetes /Redhat Openshift Experience in Python , JavaProgramming Experience in Database configurations , DBA activities Experience in provisioning instances in cloud providers (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure etc), maintaining it. Knowledge in Linux Knowledge /Hands on on IBM z/OS added advantage Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Five to Seven (5-7) years of IT professional experience in software development with knowledge in Enterprise GitHub and version control, CI/CD Pipeline,Script programming development (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell),Worked on any of SQL/non-SQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, DB2 etc),Worked on Multi cloud (any -IBM cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP etc), Knowledge in IBM z/Os is an added advantage too Preferred technical and professional experience Minimum 5 years IT experience as a programmer/ devloper, having progamming langauge skills like Java/Python, Database skills , Linux and automation skills (knowledge in terraform, ansible etc) Should be a good communicator, individually and work collaboratively in a team.
