Youll leverage tools like Selenium , Appium , and Rest Assured while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium , Appium , and Rest Assured . Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and document findings. Enhance and refine test automation frameworks. Stay updated with the latest trends and practices in test automation. Perform manual testing when needed to validate functionality and performance. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues. Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of requirements. Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios and cases using diverse methodologies. Required Skills Education : BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/Electronics/Electrical), MCA, or MS. Experience : 2-5 years in Test Automation and Quality Engineering. Proficiency with Selenium and Appium for UI testing on web and mobile applications. Strong understanding of Selenium/Appium Architecture , Page Object Model , and Page Factory Design . Familiarity with tools like TFS , GitHub , Jenkins , and Azure DevOps for CI/CD. Proficiency in Java , including OOPS concepts, exception handling, and collection frameworks. Experience with databases (e.g., MSSQL , PostgreSQL , MongoDB ) and API testing using Rest Assured . Basic knowledge of BDD concepts with Cucumber . Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills. What Will Set You Apart Certifications : ISTQB Foundation/Expert Level, Scrum Master Certification. Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain (Electric, Solar, Gas, Water services). Advanced API testing skills using tools like Postman , SoapUI , or Swagger .
