Location: Hybrid (Mumbai preferred)

VHS (Versova Homage Screening) is a community-led cinema collective that curates bold, independent films in intimate, conversation-driven settings. Rooted in the spirit of discovery and homage, VHS creates space for audiences and artists to engage deeply with cinema beyond the algorithm.

Role Overview

Social Media Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content (posts, reels, stories)
• Help grow and manage our community; respond to DMs/comments, engage with followers
• Support with live coverage of screenings, collaborations, and events
• Collaborate on campaigns tied to cinema drops, IPs, or cultural events
• Monitor analytics and suggest improvements for reach and engagement
• Reach out to brands for partnerships & collaborations

Who You Are

• Deeply interested in cinema - from indie films to underseen classics
• Active on platforms like Instagram and YouTube Shorts
• Can write copy that’s smart, conversational, and aligned with VHS’ tone
• Comfortable with tools like Canva, Photoshop
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative
• Bonus: Familiar with influencer marketing and /or have design & video editing skills
