Primary Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with

  12+ years of relevant experience

  , or a Master’s degree with

  10+ years of relevant experience

  .
• Experience in

  computer architecture

  and

  architectural specifications

  .
• Experience integrating

  components or IP blocks

  from internal and external providers.
• Experience in

  RTL/logic design

  on ASICs, IP blocks, or SoCs using

  SystemVerilog RTL coding

  .

System-on-Chip (SoC) Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with current and prospective customers to understand mission goals and develop SoC-based solutions.
• Develop architectural definitions for upcoming products, including

  IP, fabric

  , and

  SoC architectures

  .
• Oversee

  definition, design, verification, and documentation

  for SoC development.
• Contribute to

  micro-architectural features

  and specifications.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Perform

  RTL logic design and simulation

  for functional units, subsystems, and full-chip SoC designs.
• Balance design trade-offs involving

  modularity, scalability, DFX requirements, power, area, and performance

  .
• Drive cross-organizational collaboration, provide

  technical guidance

  , and mentor engineers.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline with

  12+ years

  experience; or a Master’s degree with

  10+ years

  experience.
• Strong experience in

  computer architecture

  and

  architectural specifications

  .
• Experience integrating

  IP blocks

  from internal and external sources.
• Hands-on experience in RTL design for

  ASICs, IP blocks, or SoCs

  using

  SystemVerilog

  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with or supporting

  external customers

  .
• Experience with

  embedded products

  employing analog and/or RF IPs.
• Experience in

  Platform Architecture

  .
• Programming experience in

  C++, Perl, and assembly algorithms

  .
• Familiarity with proprietary and 3rd-party

  RF logic design tools

  .
