SOC Analyst

As a SOC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Security Operations Center (SOC) by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents in real-time. Your responsibilities will include conducting forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and developing remediation strategies. Working with at least one cloud security platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) will be essential to ensure a secure infrastructure. Additionally, you will need to stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends to effectively safeguard the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents promptly. - Conduct forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and develop effective remediation strategies. - Collaborate with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to maintain a secure infrastructure. - Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. - Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends. Qualifications Required: - Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for effective security issue communication. - Analytical thinking and intellectual integrity to make data-driven security decisions. - Experience in Cybersecurity, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Incident Handling. - Hands-on experience with security engineering and forensic investigations. - Familiarity with security tools like Splunk, Jira, CrowdStrike, and WIZ. - Proficiency in at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Basic knowledge of Windows and Unix environments. - Strong understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP Protocols, and network security. In addition to the above qualifications, industry certifications such as Google Cybersecurity Professional Training and familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001 are considered as preferred qualifications.,
