Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and data warehouse structures.
• Implement Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Clustering, and Materialized Views.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and cloud-native tools.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data transformation and data quality checks.
• Integrate Snowflake with various cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data ingestion tools.
• Work closely with data engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure platform reliability and optimization.
• Ensure best practices in security, governance, data privacy, and cost optimization within Snowflake.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Expertise in SQL, data modelling, and data architecture.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development on Snowflake.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP (any one is sufficient).
• Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, Informatica, ADF, or similar tools is added advantage.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts: SCD, Fact/Dimension tables, Star/Snowflake schema.
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
