Job Description

Key Activities and responsibilities Establishes contact with potential clients and obtains the clients history to develop a client profile. Engages as Subject Matter Experts to enhance IPS brand and client engagement to develop client and subcontractor relations, promoting IPS brand awareness. Develops APAC strategic business plan in concert with overall company planning efforts involving technical/regulatory activities required to achieve long range and annual goals and objectives. Reviews and analyzes regional budget and business plans, ensuring effective project management and cost control for Life Sciences Projects in APAC region. To oversee all Life Sciences projects from IPS APAC are well-planned for timely execution and job allocations. Participates in Events to promote BD initiatives by seeking out new projects with existing or new clients. Contributes to the preparation and delivery of all Strategic sales presentations and proposals for the region for Life Sciences. Coordinates with project management teams and discipline directors to determine scope, complexity, and planning and scheduling requirements of projects. Assigns appropriate personnel to provide cost-effective design and technical support. Defines an appropriate cost-effective workflow process and level of design detail to achieve project goals. Assistance in timely proposal development and ensures adherence to procedures. Coordinates proposal efforts including assisting with the go/no-go decision, development of the proposal team, assigning proposal tasks, proposal review and proposal debriefings. Prepares proposal activity log and weekly business development summaries for distribution. Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within company, externally with clients. Assistance in Implementing corporate risk prevention procedures. Monitors overall project progress, ensuring compliance with guidelines and quality service. To oversee work in progress (WIP), accounts receivable (AR), order book, and aims to avoid bad debts through quality job delivery. Facilitates hiring, training, and retention of Life Sciences personnel to meet IPS engineering standards. Ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency and completeness of overall work as to process architectural and process design principles, compliance with established IPS standards, procedures, codes and ordinances; adherence to project schedules; and provides adequate training, technical and administrative guidance, and instruction to personnel within the department. Regularly reviews productivity/quality reports to ensure best performance. Facilitate and review the Master Planning, Feasibility Studies, and Conceptual Design from projects as assigned. Define design philosophies and facility design parameters for special projects as assigned. Communication on regular intervals with IPS management and promotes best practices. Bachelor s Degree from an accredited University or College, in Engineering or relevant science. Strong proficiency in office software, including MW Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio. GMP design experience. General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in process engineering. Active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is strongly preferred (for example: speaking engagements, presenting at industry events and conferences, etc.) Proven experience interacting and communicating directly with clients and leading conceptual design efforts. Has a demonstrated ability to manage projects, problem solve, communicate effectively to all key personnel, time manage, and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.
