As an experienced Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server databases in a cluster environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing SQL Server on cluster environment - Possessing complete knowledge of Backup and recovery processes - Implementing Database Security policies - Managing high availability solutions such as Cluster, Mirroring, logshipping, and always on - Monitoring and tuning database performance - Troubleshooting issues effectively - Managing SQL Server databases throughout various lifecycle environments - Configuring and maintaining database servers to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security - Automating regular processes and documenting changes - Assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement - Providing 24x7 support for critical production systems - Performing scheduled maintenance and supporting release deployment activities - Working with Windows server, including Active Directory - Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills - Organizing and planning work independently - Adapting to a rapidly changing environment - Effectively multitasking and switching between different activities and teams - Having basic knowledge of Cloud Technologies like Azure, AWS & GCP - Conducting Backup for Databases on Azure Blob Storages from Local Servers - Decoding Execution Plans for MSSQL Server - Hands-On Knowledge on SQL 2019, 2022 New Features - Managing Database Consolidation, Migrations & Licensing for MSSQL - Working with AzureSQL and having basic knowledge of Migration from Onpremise to Azure Your qualifications should include a B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in database administration. Additionally, you should have the ability to work independently, adapt to changes, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.,
