Role: Oracle Retail & SIM Development Expert Level: Expert Type: Freelance Quantity: 2 Working place: Remote As a RMS Development Expert , you will be responsible for providing quality work products to an engagement. You will perform varied and complex duties and tasks that require independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology to meet SmartOSC's business needs. You will apply system development methodology, company procedures, and leading practices, demonstrating expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions. You may act as the team lead on projects, effectively consulting with business/IT management and participating in system development activities. You will develop and configure detailed solutions for moderately complex projects. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Develop and maintain Oracle Retail Merchandising software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC). Write clean and efficient code. Conduct software testing and debugging. Collaborate on code reviews. Monitor and maintain existing Oracle Retail software systems. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies. Document software processes and specifications. Provide technical support. Key people and teams you will work with: Business stakeholders Technology Vendors IT teams WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in complex project implementation. Familiar with Java EE and application servers (Oracle WebLogic, WebSphere, etc.). Strong knowledge of Oracle DB/PLSQL. Oracle APEX experience is a plus. Oracle Retail Merchandising system implementation experience is preferred. Knowledge of Retail Merchandising System, Retail Price System. System Analysis and Design skills. English communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Database knowledge (Oracle, MSSQL). Agile methodology.
