Job Description

Skill Development Manager Location: Wakad, Pune (with travel to project locations) About the Role The Skill Development Manager will be responsible for leading and executing skill development programs, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring training quality and project outcomes. The role demands strategic planning, team coordination, and regular engagement with internal departments and external partners. Key Responsibilities Design and implement skill development programs as per organizational goals and donor expectations Lead the planning and execution of skill training projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and team assignments Conduct field-level needs assessments to identify training gaps and design relevant interventions Develop training modules and oversee delivery and evaluation of training sessions and workshops Coordinate with government and CSR partners for smooth execution of skill training projects Monitor ongoing training programs to ensure effectiveness and take corrective actions as required Ensure timely documentation and submission of reports to donors and internal teams Collaborate with placement and mobilization teams to achieve training-to-placement outcomes Maintain project documentation and MIS reports as per defined standards Track project progress, identify risks, and implement contingency plans when necessary Stay updated with relevant government schemes and sector trends related to skill development Visit training and project sites regularly to oversee implementation and quality control Qualification and Experience Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Social Work, Management, or related field 5–6 years of experience in managing skill development or training projects Experience with NSDC, DDUGKY, or CSR-funded skill training projects is required Familiarity with DDUGKY mobilization and placement processes is preferred Strong project management and communication skills Proficient in MS Office tools and project tracking systems Willingness to travel to training centres and project locations Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Project management: 5 years (Required) Language: English (Required) Location: Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
