Site Supervisor:

A site supervisor's job description involves overseeing and managing daily construction site operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. Key duties include coordinating with workers and subcontractors, monitoring progress against schedules, and enforcing safety regulations. They also handle resource management, site inspections, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project oversight: Manage daily site activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and monitor progress against project schedules.

2. Safety and quality control: Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections for hazards, and ensure the quality of work meets required standards and building codes.

3. Team and resource management: Supervise the work of site personnel, organise work schedules, assign duties, and ensure the proper use of equipment and materials.

4. Communication and reporting: Serve as a liaison between project managers, site workers, and other stakeholders, and prepare reports on project progress, safety issues, and site activities.

5. Problem-solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise on-site and make decisions to keep the project on track.

Qualifications and skills:

1. Education: A diploma or degree in a relevant field like Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.

2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in a construction or site supervision role is necessary.

3. Technical skills: Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, proficiency in project management software, and knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.

4. Soft skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for coordinating teams and managing site issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
