Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Site Supervisor to become the on-site manager for our interior design projects. You will be the critical link between our design studio, our clients, and the construction team. Your primary responsibility is to take ownership of the site from start to finish, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You are the "boots on the ground" that makes our designs come to life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Management & Supervision:

• Act as the primary point of contact on-site for all parties, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and cleanliness.
• Read and interpret interior design drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the approved design intent and technical packages.

2. Material Procurement & Logistics:

• Create and manage material schedules and procurement lists.
• Source, purchase, and coordinate the delivery of all materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings (FF&E).
• Perform quality checks on all incoming materials against purchase orders and specifications.
• Manage material storage on-site to prevent damage, loss, or theft.

3. Labour Management:

• Coordinate, direct, and supervise the work of subcontractors, carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades.
• Schedule and prioritize tasks for different trades to ensure a smooth workflow and avoid delays.
• Monitor labour productivity and provide clear daily instructions.

4. Quality Control & Assurance:

• Implement and enforce strict quality control standards for all aspects of the work.
• Identify defects, poor workmanship, or deviations from the plan and ensure they are corrected immediately.
• Conduct final snagging/punch list walks and ensure all items are resolved before client handover.

5. Project Administration:

• Maintain accurate and daily site reports, including progress photos, issues log, and manpower records.
• Liaise with the design team and principal to provide regular progress updates and flag potential issues.
• Assist in tracking project budgets related to materials and labour.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience (min. 1-3 years) as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role in interior fit-out or high-end residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent understanding of reading architectural and interior design drawings.
• Solid experience in material procurement and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of diverse tradespeople.
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to superior quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with basic software (e.g., Email, WhatsApp, Excel for basic lists) is required. Experience with project management apps is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
