Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities 1. Manage alerts and monitoring of critical production systems. 2. Manage CI/CD and key services and improve deployment and rollback strategies 3. Work with central platform teams on initiatives for improving reliability of systems 4. Automate testing, regression and build tooling to improve operational performance working alongside the dev team 5. Running NFR on production systems. 6. Debian versions migration Skills:- 1. Working experience in CI/CD systems and ability to package and distribute (Jenkins,Docker,Jfrog) 2. Working experience in Debian migration 3. Good understanding of monitoring systems ( Grafana, Nagios, etc) 4. Understanding of config management systems, Ansible/ Puppet/chef 5. Knowledge on version control tools(Git) 6. Good understanding of kubernetes and E2E deployment flow for kubernetes 7. Kubernetes debugging skills 8. Deploy components with a deeper understanding of the component A. Config parameters System requirements B. Monitoring Parameters for the component C. Performance Tuning. D. Suggest a deployment plan for a component, such as high availability, scalability and failures 9.Understanding of Networking concepts Tools A. TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, Broadcast etc B. TCP Dump, wire shark 10. Linux tools Database understanding (Mysql/NoSql)
