IT&S GroupKey Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications across multiple technologies (e.g., Java, React).
- Write and maintain Python automation scripts and shell scripts to automate installations, configurations, and operational tasks.
- Provision and handle cloud resources on Azure and AWS using ARM templates and CloudFormation.
- Implement containerization using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes – including cluster setup, upgrades, and patching.
- Automate platform workflows using API integrations and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Integrate observability tools like Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
- Support operations and customers, helping resolve platform issues and enabling continuous improvement.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and engage in multi-functional teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Continuously evolve platform solutions for HA/DR, discoverability, and security using open standards like OpenTelemetry, CloudEvents.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Kubernetes o Python Scripting o Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and CloudFormation templates
- Proven expertise with: o Azure DevOps (ADO) – pipelines, repos, release orchestration
- CI/CD pipeline development o Cloud resource provisioning on Azure and/or AWS
- Containerization and Kubernetes-based deployments o Automation through API integrations o Observability tools, especially Grafana
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices within Azure/AWS Secondary / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
- Observability and discoverability solutions
- Experience implementing security guidelines and open standards (e.g., oTel, helm charts)
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
- Agile/Scrum experience, self-starter attitude, analytical problem-solving ability
