Job Description

Responsibilities: Business Partnering: Provide services, solutions and interventions across all people processes to support business needs. Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Advice and support line managers on talent engagement, retention and development. Coordinate, execute and support various learning and development programs as per the training calendar. Overseeing and maintaining employee records in Oracle, including data management and constant data cleansing. Promoting the companys culture and core values at the site. Conducting exit-interviews and providing monthly exit analysis reports. Ensuring full and final settlements are completed on the employee s last working day. Talent Acquisition: Manage the complete end-to-end recruitment process for both MEP and PP roles, ensuring adherence to the time-to-fill KPI. Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires at the site Industrial Relations: Plan develop and implement wage and salary programs that align with the companys plan and industry standards for employees and contract workers. Responsible for managing labour relations with the support of plant management and corporate People Team including negotiating with labour unions and contractors. Ensure smooth wage agreement negotiations between the company and its workforce minimizing disruptions or lost workdays due to industrial relations issues. Manage employee grievance processes and provide consultation on union matters as required. Serve as the site expert on union-related issues when necessary Payroll & Benefits Management: Oversee payroll processing for plant employees ensuring adherence to all statutory compliances. Administer employee benefits including managing insurance schemes for plant employees. Statutory Compliances: Maintain compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations at the plant level. Manage contractual labour and third-party employees ensuring their attendance is tracked and controlled, and their compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is supervised. Liaison with different government agencies. Manage the employee database at the plant level including managing personnel files. Monitor HR and administration-related law changes closely and take proactive action to implement them. Ensure that HR and administration contracts are in place and renewed on time. Conduct site (compliance and process) audits for 2 other locations with submission of report within 15 days of audit and closure of audit observations NC within one months time from the date of audit. Safety: Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization. Set up and keep effective processes and systems for the Series 7 and take 5 safety programs. Drive efforts to achieve the goal of zero incidents or injuries at the site Others: Monitor and manage non-labor costs at the site. Manage plant administration including security, canteen, transportation, guest house and other administrative facilities and activities. Lead corporate social responsibility initiatives at the plant level in line with corporate strategy Requirements: Essential: Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources Management (HRM) Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR), or Social Work (MSW) Minimum 5-10 years of experience as generalist human resources and industrial relations for a manufacturing site. Preferred: Preference will be given to candidates proficient in reading, writing and speaking Marathi. Knowledge of labour laws and regulations
