Location: PAN India (Project Site-Based) Experience: Minimum 5 years Industry: Railway / Infrastructure / Diagnostic Systems Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Site Execution Engineer with extensive experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of wayside diagnostic systems for Indian Railways. The role requires hands-on expertise in field execution, technical troubleshooting, and coordination with internal teams and railway authorities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee site execution for the installation and commissioning of wayside diagnostic systems such as HABD, WILD, Rail Surface Inspection Systems, etc. Interpret engineering drawings, system layouts, and installation schematics. Manage on-site activities including civil interface, mechanical installation, electrical wiring, sensor mounting, and integration. Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and railway officials to ensure smooth site operations. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and Indian Railway standards during installation. Conduct functional testing, calibration, and performance verification of diagnostic systems. Lead root cause analysis for faults or performance deviations and execute corrective actions. Prepare site documentation, installation checklists, test reports, and daily progress updates. Support system handover and user training as required. Candidate Profile: Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of field experience in railway diagnostic systems installation and maintenance. Familiarity with systems such as Hot Axle Box Detectors (HABD), Wheel Impact Load Detectors (WILD), etc. Experience with sensors, DAQ units, embedded controllers, and field instrumentation. Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals. Willingness to travel and stay at project sites across India as required.
