Job Description

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of solar energy projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline requirements. You will play a crucial role in implementing technical solutions, resolving site issues, and driving project efficiency. Responsibilities: Site Management and Coordination: Manage day-to-day site activities, including construction, installation, and commissioning of solar projects. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Supervise construction crews and subcontractors, providing technical guidance and support as needed. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with technical specifications. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any deviations from project requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies at all project sites. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve site issues, equipment failures, and installation challenges. Troubleshoot technical problems and coordinate with engineering teams to implement effective solutions. Conduct site surveys and assessments to optimize solar panel placement, system design, and performance. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, and material inventory. Prepare as-built drawings, installation manuals, and other project documentation as required. Assist in the preparation of project status reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and regulatory authorities. Address stakeholder inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner. Participate in project meetings, site visits, and other coordination activities as necessary. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) or related field. 3+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, construction practices, and electrical installations. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing solar projects in India. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software. Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Rajasthan.
