Site Engineer (Civil)

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site activities for construction projects. Your primary duties will include site execution, supervision, quality control, and coordination with vendors and contractors to ensure timely project completion. Key Responsibilities: - Regularly liaise with subcontractors, architects, engineers, surveyors, planners, supervisors, and other project stakeholders. - Meet with clients frequently to provide updates on project progress. - Monitor and interpret technical designs and drawings to ensure correct application. - Negotiate, agree, and oversee material choices and prices with quantity surveyors. - Set out, level, and survey the site accurately. - Manage day-to-day site operations efficiently. - Provide cost-effective proposals, solutions, and alternatives for project requirements. - Ensure projects meet specified standards, budgets, and deadlines. - Offer technical advice and resolve on-site issues promptly. - Prepare site reports and complete necessary paperwork. - Ensure compliance with health and safety policies. - Occasionally communicate with local authorities to adhere to regulations and by-laws. Qualifications & Skills: - B.TECH / B.E. in civil engineering. - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry. - Proficiency in site execution, QA/QC, and AutoCAD. - Strong understanding of civil materials. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
